What does multi-day event coverage actually look like?

A recurring brief for us is a three-day private celebration at a rented villa, say above Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. In practice the coverage runs like this:

• Before day one, the scout. We walk the villa with the planner or the host, note where the sun will set relative to the terrace, agree where the group photo happens and at what time, and identify the two or three spots that will carry the gallery.
• Day one, arrivals and welcome dinner. Coverage starts at the golden hour apéritif and runs through the toasts. No flash until the speeches, so the first evening stays candid.
