Instagram photoshoots on the French Riviera

For the trip between friends, the creator week, the bachelorette weekend and the solo traveller who is tired of asking strangers. One hour, three backdrops, photos back before you fly home.

In short

One hour covers three backdrops and two outfits and delivers about 30 edited photos. The session is priced per group, not per person, whatever its size. Vertical 4:5 and 9:16 crops for Instagram are included, the first edited photos arrive within 48 hours and the full gallery within 7 days. Available in Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, Nice, Antibes and Cap-Ferrat.

Who this is for

Most of what we photograph on this coast is a wedding, a proposal or a yacht day. This page is for the other kind of session, the one that exists because the photos themselves are the point. Nobody is getting married, nothing needs documenting, you just want a set of images from a trip that actually look like the trip felt.

It is the same photographers, the same editing and the same delivery speed as our editorial and wedding work. What changes is the register: we shoot it light, quick and unposed, because a content session that feels like a formal portrait sitting fails at the only thing it was booked to do.

How the session runs

You tell us the town, your dates and roughly what the photos are for. We come back with an hour, a route of three or four backdrops that sit close together, and the meeting point. On the day we walk, talk and shoot, with direction limited to where to stand and where to look, because the frames people keep are almost always the ones between the poses.

Two practical rules we give every group. Put the session early in the trip, not on the last evening, so a windy day costs you a reschedule instead of the photographs. And decide the outfits before you travel: soft colours that sit together, nothing with big logos, and shoes you can walk in. Our guide on what to wear for a Riviera photoshoot has the full logic, including what works against sea and stone.

When to book it

May, June, September and early October are the best weeks of the year here: better light, fewer people, same sea. July and August work perfectly well, the session simply moves to before 10am or the hour before sunset. For peak weeks, the Cannes Film Festival in May, the Monaco Grand Prix in late May and all of August, book one to two months ahead, because a photographer can only shoot one sunset per day. Outside those, one to two weeks of notice is usually enough. Month by month detail is in our guide to the best time for a photoshoot on the French Riviera.

Frequently asked questions

What do you actually receive after the session?

About 30 individually retouched photos for a one hour session, 60 for two hours, delivered on a private link that stays live and that everyone in the group can download from. Every gallery includes 4:5 and 9:16 vertical crops framed by the photographer alongside the full-size files. A first edited selection arrives within 48 hours, the complete gallery within 7 days, with full personal usage rights and nothing published without your written consent.

Is one hour enough for a group of friends?

Yes, for three backdrops and two outfits, which is roughly 30 edited photos and enough for everyone to have both group and solo frames. Book two hours if there are more than five of you, if you want a swimsuit change, or if you want the session to feel unhurried rather than efficient. Beyond four people, the extra time buys more solo coverage per person.

Which town on the French Riviera is best for Instagram photos?

Saint-Tropez for pastel village lanes and the port, Cannes for palms and the Croisette, Monaco for status frames, Nice for the most variety within one walk, Antibes for sea walls and a real old town without the crowd, and Cap-Ferrat for photographs with nobody else in them even in August. If you only have one session and are arriving by plane, Nice costs the least travel time.

Do you deliver vertical crops for Instagram and TikTok?

Yes. Every gallery includes 4:5 and 9:16 crops alongside the full-size files, framed by us rather than cropped by the app, so posting does not cut anyone out of the shot. You also get full personal usage rights, and we publish nothing without your written consent.

How fast do we get the photos?

A first edited selection within 48 hours, which is the point of the format: you can post while you are still on the trip. The complete retouched gallery follows within 7 days, on a private link that stays live and that everyone in the group can download from. Express delivery is available on request.

When is the best time of year for a content session on the Riviera?

May, June, September and early October give the best light and the smallest crowds. July and August work, but the session moves to before 10am or the hour before sunset, because midday light is hard and the famous spots are full. Sunset moves from around 9:15pm in late June to around 7pm in early October, which changes what time a golden hour session starts.
