A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. This page lists the ones this site uses and how to refuse them.
1. What this site loads
| Tracker | Purpose | Main cookies | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel (ID 801771899535169) | Measures which pages and actions follow a visit from a Facebook or Instagram advert, and lets us build advertising audiences. | _fbp, _fbc | Up to 90 days |
| Google Analytics 4 (G-G91RS0Y5BK) | Counts visits, pages viewed and traffic sources, so we know which content is useful. | _ga, _ga_G91RS0Y5BK | Up to 13 months |
| Riva language preference | Remembers the language you chose so the site opens in it next time. Strictly necessary, stored locally in your browser. | riva_lang (local storage) | Until you clear your browser data |
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to serve the files. No cookie is set by that request.
2. How to refuse them
- In your browser: every browser lets you block or delete cookies, in Settings then Privacy. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this and other websites.
- Meta: adjust your advert settings at accountscenter.facebook.com/ad_preferences.
- Google Analytics: install the opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Browser tracking protection: Safari, Firefox and Brave block most advertising trackers by default. Private browsing clears everything when you close the window.
3. Who receives the data
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Google Ireland Ltd act as their own data controllers for the data collected by their trackers, and may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Their own policies apply: Meta privacy policy, Google privacy policy.
